The World’s Best Delivery Service? Lunch in Mumbai

02:48
With a population of over 18 million people, Mumbai is one of the world’s largest megalopolises. To put it mildly, the city can be unpredictable. But amid the chaos, Mumbai has one thing that is nearly 100 percent reliable: your lunch delivery. The dabbawalas of Mumbai are an institution. Dabbawalas deliver homemade lunches to workers across Mumbai—nearly 200,000 of them per day. Crisscrossing side streets on bikes, balancing trays that weight almost 150 pounds on their heads, this group of 5,000 men helps define the city. But it’s not just the staggering quantity or exhaustive work that sets these guys apart; their 99.9% delivery accuracy and incredible efficiency is the envy of delivery services the world over. Pakistan Meat Paradise - NALLI NIHARI + TIKKA in Gujranwala | Pakistani Street Food Tour!

20:57
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Huge thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH On Day 3 in Pakistan we drove from Lahore to Gujranwala, known for being a city of meat lovers! But before leaving Lahore, we stopped to eat what is one of the most beloved of all dishes in Pakistan: nihari. Waris Nihari (Read the blog post: https://migrationology.com/nihari-lahore/) - There are a number of famous places to eat nihari when you’re in Lahore, but we tried Waris Nihari, tucked deep within a narrow alley. Nihari is a meat stew, and when you order, he dishes you out some meat, some of the brown stew, and finishes it off with a some desi ghee. They heated up some more desi ghee and poured it on top to complete. The best thing about nihari is that you can season it yourself with chilies, ginger, and lime juice. It’s one of the kings of Pakistani food! Price - 500 PKR ($3.82) per dish Grand Trunk Road - Full from a serious meat breakfast, we continued driving towards Gujranwala taking the famous Grand Trunk Road, what is one of the oldest roads and trade routes in Central Asia. Pakora - After arriving in Gujranwala we stopped to eat some pakoras, a massive display of deep fried snacks. They were dangerously tasty. Camel kebabs - 140 PKR ($1.05) - In the market, while walking around we saw a man selling small camel kebab sliders and we immediately had to taste them. They were incredibly delicious, seasoned with plenty of coriander seeds. Pakistani wrestling with Inam Butt - Wrestling is an ancient sport in Pakistan and we were invited to watch a practice along with world champion wrestler Inam Butt. It was an honor to be there and a lot of fun. Khizar Tikka Shop - For dinner we had a chance to experience of the greatest Pakistani food displays, the gigantic grill at Khizar Tikka Shop in Gujranwala. Their grill and entire kitchen set-up is impressively giant, and their food is incredibly good. I especially enjoyed the small gola kebabs and the goat chops. Sweet paan - For dessert to went to a paan shop and had a sweet paan. Jalebi - And for second dessert we had a huge jalebi. Kulfi - 30 PKR ($0.22) - Finally, last stop of the day, we had a famous kulfi in Gujranwala. It was an amazing day of Pakistani food, lots and lots of meat, and exploring Gujranwala, Pakistan. Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market) and Saim who arranged and planned our day in Gujranwala. Get info about things to do, where to stay, and the best food to eat on your visit to Tokyo, Japan. From temples and shrines, to gardens and museums, you'll never run out of attractions. Out of all the things you could do, I've chosen a top 25 list for this awesome city (and just so you know food is my first choice in Tokyo)! 1. Ueno Park (上野公園), Tokyo National Museum (東京国立博物館) - Ueno Park is a huge public park in Tokyo with shrines, gardens and a number of museums. 12. Tokyo Skytree (東京スカイツリー) - They call it Tokyo's biggest attractions. It's a huge communications tower with various viewing decks and galleries. 13. FRESHEST SEAFOOD FEAST! INSANE Seafood Meal at Dampa Market Manila Philippines

17:59
When I was in Manila Philippines I was told that I HAD to get some FRESH seafood at a local seafood market called Dampa. At this market, you shop for seafood items like fresh fish, crabs, clams, mussels, lobsters and then take the seafood to a number of local restaurants located nearby so they can prepare it for you in a variety of ways. We also happened to run into a few very friendly friends from Saudia Arabia and went with them to their hotel for a Salmon and Rice feast. After which we returned to the seafood market, selected some fish, crab, clams, and prawns. We then headed for a restaurant called Hong Kong Master Cook and begin one of the most delicious seafood feasts I've ever had! The seafood was prepared in many different ways and my favorite was the fish cooked in spicy chili broth. Also, the crab was some of the most tender onesI've ever had. I would highly recommend this seafood market if ever in Manila Philipines. Pakistani Street Food - GOAT FEET JACUZZI + Tour of Walled City of Lahore, Pakistan!

24:13
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Huge thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH Pakistan travel guide: https://goo.gl/5MHgz4 This is Day 2 of our trip to Pakistan. In this video we went on a Pakistani street food tour of the Walled City of Lahore, one of the oldest and most fascinating areas of the city. The Walled City is a maze of ancient alley, street food, and markets that never seem to end. It’s one of the best places in Lahore to explore and go on a food tour. Phajja Siri Paye - This restaurant is a must eat when you’re in Lahore, famous for serving a dish called paya - goat trotters stew. Their massive pan, which I believe never stops bubbling or cooking, is packed full of goat feet trotters that slow simmer until fall apart tender. It’s a deliciously thick and meaty Pakistani dish to start your morning. Total price - 1,300 PKR ($9.70) Haleem - During my time in Lahore, haleem was probably the most surprisingly delicious dish I encountered. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be much, but sprinkled with boiling desi ghee, and seasoned with spices and herbs, it was truly incredible - so good I had to have a plate re-full. He wouldn’t charge us, thank you! Wazir Khan Mosque Dahi bhalay - 100 PKR ($0.75) - Next on this street food tour of the Walled City of Lahore, we came across a stall selling dahi bhalay, yogurt marinated lentil puffs. It was delicious and refreshing. Chole bhature - 30 PKR ($0.22) - Next to the dahi bhalay was chole bhature, a dish of stewed chickpeas, seasoned with onions and achar pickle. Fruit chaat - One of the best Pakistani snacks of the day was the fruit chaat, a massive bowl of chopped fruit, seasoned with apricot chutney and pomegranate. A\gain, he wouldn’t charge us, thank you! Dhaba restaurant - Finally to finish this food tour, for a late lunch we went to a local dhaba, a local street side restaurant, that served a mix of Pakistani food. It was here I came across the fastest roti maker I’ve ever seen and we ordered a mix of different curries to share. After a delicious meal, we ended with dude pathi, pure milk tea. Total price - 850 PKR ($6.34) Badshahi Mosque - After our late lunch, we headed over to Lahore Fort and Badshahi Mosque, two of the most significant and historical sites of Lahore. It was an amazing day exploring and eating through Lahore, a city that’s packed culture, history, friendly people, and delicious food. Again, massive thank you to Ali, from Pakistan Travel Mart for hosting us in Pakistan, taking us around, and organizing everything. Chinese Street Food LEVEL 9000 -The ULTIMATE Chinese Street Food Tour of Chengdu, China - SICHUAN!

19:38
Chinese Street Food Chengdu http://bit.ly/Chengdu8 Chinese Street Food Level 9000 - The Ultimate Chinese Street Food Tour in Chengdu, China! This is Sichuan Food HEAVEN! In this Chinese Street Food Tour video, we’re bringing you in DEEP to try 4 amazing Chinese street foods in Chengdu. Here, the Sichuan food is world famous for being SPICY, Fragrant, and a little numbing as well from the Sichuan peppercorn. Today, we’re going for a street food adventure to these 4 street food stalls to taste some delicious and spicy street foods and also a famous Sichuan dessert. We’re starting first thing in the morning for Chinese breakfast and going to a famous Sichuan Noodle Joint in Chengdu. This noodle restaurant is famous for its twice cooked pork noodles AKA huiguoroumian 回锅肉面. Huiguorou twice cooked pork is a famous Sichuan food that is best in Chengdu. And to find it on top of noodles is very RARE. To me it’s like an upgraded dan dan noodle. The flavour is even stronger and more aromatic. And we were so lucky to get into the kitchen to watch the chef Mr.Yu cook his family recipe and serve it to us! After this, we found the true Chinese Street Food LEVEL 9000 dish, the sweet sticky rice balls AKA Tangyou Guozi 糖油果子. Tangyou guozi are a very traditional Chinese street food in Chengdu that you need to try. The sticky rice balls are fried in a huge wok full of oil for about 10 minutes and then covered in a dark sweet molasses. They are crispy on the outside, gooey on the inside, and are incredibly sweet! After this, we’re continuing our journey for another famous Chinese street food - WONTONS. And today, we got invited into the prep area of a famous wonton restaurant in a little neighbourhood of Chengdu. This restaurant serves a variety of special wontons famous in Sichuan cuisine. Watching the master chefs prepare these elegant and expensive wontons was a highlight of our Chinese street food adventure. They are most well known for their ganhaijiao chaoshou AKA spicy wontons covered in peanut and chili. You can order them dry or with stock. I prefer them dry. They also had two other amazing wonton dishes, one made with pork and another made with shrimp, pork, and crab egg, kind of like a Seafood wonton! Each of these were made with a chicken stock and served with either matsutake mushrooms or local fungus. And to finish off our Chinese street food LEVEL 9000 Adventure - we’re going to the most famous Szechuan food of all, the Szechuan hot pot! Here in Chengdu, you can get extremely spicy and flavourful Sichuan hot pot almost anywhere. But we set out to find the most local style one and found a little place in a small neighbourhood in Chengdu. It was definitely one of the BEST hot pot restaurants in Chengdu! It was very spicy and flavourful and full of chili and Sichuan peppercorn! All the addresses for this Chinese Street Food LEVEL 9000 Tour of Sichuan China are found in my Chengdu Food Tour Post here: https://www.thefoodranger.com/the-ultimate-guide-to-chengdu-food/ You can follow along on the Chengdu food tour map and take yourself on a Foodrangin’ adventure! It has the most INSANE selection of Chinese seafood from around the world, all picked up daily from the local fish market! They have every type of seafood you can order it in a huge variety of different cooking styles. When you walk into hongxing seafood restaurant, you immediately feel like you're walking into a seafood heaven. This is different from our regular Chinese street food videos, this is a Chinese seafood feast video! And today we are featuring all cantonese style cooking, one of the 8 main specialties of Chinese cuisine! This is less spicy than Sichuan food, this is much more elegant and refined and clear style, very delicious! When you walk in, you'll see hundreds of different fish tanks full of so many different types of seafood to choose from. You'll see at least 2 aisles full of lobster from around the world. Australian lobster, Boston lobster, and more. And you'll also find aisles full of different crabs from around the world. The biggest ones are the Alaskan king prawns. You can order these steamed or boiled and covered in a garlic sauce. The crab legs are full of flesh! Super tasty! This is Chinese style seafood mukbang! Eating With My DAD!

22:40
►Check out: https://www.23andme.com/markwiens Thank you very much to 23andMe for sponsoring this video. Learning about my ancestry and discovering some of my taste preferences, and comparing them with my Dad, was fascinating. He and I both had a great time meeting and eating. We happen to be traveling in Ghana, and my Dad happened to be in Nairobi, Kenya for a few days having some meetings, so I thought it would be a perfect opportunity, to meet my Dad. Luckily it all worked out smoothly! Accra, Ghana Waakye - 8 GHC ($1.80) - Waakye is a popular Ghanaian food / meal, and that’s what we started the day with. You get rice and beans, a number of other starches, and some tomato sauce stew and meats, all piled high into a leaf bowl. It was delicious! Makola Market - Next we visited Makola Market, the largest and most energetic market in Accra. It’s a must visit, to see the energy and life at the market. The Accra Arts Center - Finally, we stopped off at the Accra Arts Center to buy a few things before leaving in at night. Accra to Nairobi - We had a late night flight, and we landed early at sunrise to cool Nairobi! After checking into a hotel just for 1 night, we took a quick hour nap, and then jumped into a taxi to go meet my Dad who was staying at a guesthouse. It was great to see my Dad and at the guesthouse we compared our ancestry and our taste preference. Then we went to go eat some Kenyan food, which was a highlight. Now do you know where I got my love for food from? Java House coffee - Finally, as you already know, I have a tendency to enjoy caffeine, and so does my Dad. So it was only right to stop for a cup of coffee to finish. Thank you for watching, and again, a big thank you to https://www.23andme.com/markwiens for sponsoring this video. Ultra-Tender TANDOORI LAMB!! | Food Tour + Attractions in Bukhara - Silk Road Uzbekistan!

21:06
SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Watch the entire Uzbekistan playlist: https://youtu.be/A3xHJzNNM2A Thank you to B. Hamzaev - Head of Marketing and Promotion of Uzbekistan Tourism. Check out Bekruz: https://goo.gl/M14aZW Uzbekistan Day 5: Tandoori Lamb and Full Tour of Ancient Bukhara, Uzbekistan! From Samarkand, we drove to Bukhara, another ancient and well preserved city in Uzbekistan. What’s great about Bukhara is that it’s an entire ancient city that was important on the Silk Road that’s well preserved and still functioning. Kolkhoznyy Rynok Bazaar - Ravshan (https://goo.gl/QaaBDA) who I’ve been traveling with in Uzbekistan is originally from Bukhara, so he was a great person to be with. We started in the morning, along with Bekruz for breakfast at the bazaar. We bought honey and kaymak then some very kind ladies at the bread market invited us to sit at their table. A perfect Uzbek breakfast to get the day started. Great Minaret of the Kalon - Dating back to the 12th century, without a doubt, the Great Minaret of Kalon is a landmark in Bukhara. Even Genghis Khan, while in the process of destroying much of Bukhara, spared the minaret because of its vast beauty. It truly is spectacular. Chor Bakr Restaurant - But we were very interested in a local Bukhara food speciality, tandoori lamb. So we drove out to Chor Bakr Restaurant, who prepare about 100 kg. of tandoori lamb for lunch. And luckily we arrived right as they were pulling it out of the oven! Price per plate - 75,000 UZS ($9.08) Magistral Plov Center - As I’ve learned and probably you have too, you can’t visit a city in Uzbekistan without having plov, the national dish and ultimate dish of Uzbekistan. For this version we had Bukhara plov, quite a bit more meaty than the Samarkand version, and loaded with sheep butt. Bolo Hauz Mosque - Another beautiful sight in Bukhara is Bolo Hauz Mosque with its impressive wooden entrance area. And across the street from the mosque you’ll find Bolo Xauz Teahouse, a nice little tea house where we had a tea and snack and just relaxed for a minute. Lastly for our sightseeing of the day in Bukhara, we climbed to the top of The Ark Fortress, a huge fortified palace in Bukhara near the old city. Labi Hovuz Restaurant - For dinner we ate at one of Bukhara’s most legendary restaurants, located in the old public square. The ambiance was great, and the hearty lamb and potato soup cooked in clay pots was delicious. It was another wonderful day and learning experience in Uzbekistan. If you haven’t already, you can watch the entire Uzbekistan food travel series here: https://youtu.be/A3xHJzNNM2A Big thank you to Bekruz and the Ministry of Tourism Uzbekistan for arranging my trip to Uzbekistan. 21 Things To Do In Delhi, India (नई दिल्ली)

11:52
For many more things to do in Delhi, where to stay, and delicious food to eat, check out my Delhi Travel Guide: https://migrationology.com/store/delhi-travel-guide/ (click the link)! Delhi, India, (नई दिल्ली) is the national capital of the country and has a metropolitan population of around 22 million residents. The city is ancient, it's been around since the 6th century BC so there are many historical and cultural places to visit. That's specifically why I created this list of 21 things to do in Delhi, to help you plan and get excited about visiting Delhi, India. 1. The Lotus Temple (Bahá'í House of Worship) - The temple is in the shape of a giant lotus and on the inside is a peaceful sanctuary where you can enter and sit in silence for as long as you like. 2. ISKCON Hare Krishna Temple - I had never seen a temple like this before, so it as an interesting experience to hear the music and walk around the interior of the temple. 3. Kalkaji Mandir Hindu Temple - This temple is a very important Hindu temple in Delhi and while I was there, there were a number of babies being dedicated by being decorated and blessed. 4. Jama Masjid - Located in Old Delhi, Jama Masjid is the largest mosque in all of Delhi. Though they will attempt to get money from you, it's free to enter the mosque, but if you want to take photos inside they will charge you 300 rupees. 5. Akshardham Temple - This modern Hindu temple located on the outskirts of Delhi literally made my jaw drop, it's that amazing. It's free to enter, but unfortunately, they don't allow any photography inside. This is one of the things to do in Delhi that you cannot afford to miss! 6. Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (Sikh Temple) - Unlike some other sites in Delhi where you'll find many touts and hustlers, the Gurdwara Sikh Temple is about the nicest and most friendly place you can go in Delhi. People are extremely nice and you can enter the temple to listen to music. 7. Laxmi Narayan Mandir -- Dedicated by Mahatma Gandhi, this is one of the most significant Hindu temples in Delhi. 8. Hauz Khas Complex - I'm always amazed at the history of Delhi and Hauz Khas is an excellent example of ancient monuments in the middle of a public park. 9. Lodi Gardens - As a free entrance public park, visiting the Lodi Gardens is one of the most amazing things to do in Delhi. It's just like an ordinary park, but it's filled with thousand year old tombs and monuments that are truly inspirational. 10. India Gate - The war memorial is one of the landmarks of Delhi and resembles the famous Arc de Triomphe in Paris. 11. Jantar Mantar - The Jantar Mantar complex is a compound that houses 13 different astronomy instruments. The structures are confusing to look at, but if you read or follow a guide (or audio guide) you'll understand how each instrument functioned. 12. Qutub Minar - Just like Akshardham Temple, Qutub Minar is one of the top things to do in Delhi, it's truly remarkable. The minaret is the main attraction, a huge pillar of red carved sandstone that towers above the ancient ruins in the complex. 13. Humayun's Tomb - One of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Delhi is Humayun's Tomb, built in Mughal Islamic architecture. 14. Tomb of Safdarjung - Very similar to Humayun's tomb is the tomb of Safdarjung. What I really liked is that there were no other tourists the day I went so it was quite and peaceful. 15. Red Fort - Located near Chandni Chowk in Old Delhi is the Red Fort. It's an entire walled in city where you can walk around the browse the many buildings within the walls. 16. Raj Ghat - The Raj Ghat is a memorial park dedicated to Gandhi. 17. Chandni Chowk & Chawri Bazar - The liveliest and busiest area of Delhi is Chandni Chowk and Chawri Bazar. I think it's possible to purchase anything from the entire world in this area, and you'll also find lots of delicious food. 18. Dilli Haat - This handicraft village was set up by the Delhi tourism authority and it's a decent place to purchase souvenirs or high quality crafts. You'll also find a food court that contains canteens serving food from all over India. 19. Connaught Place (Rajiv Chowk) - Known for short as just CP is a huge series of roundabouts and is the central modern business district of Delhi. Within the area you'll find all sorts of shops, famous restaurants and the Palika Bazar, an underground shopping center. 20. Paharganj (Main Bazar) - The main bazar is located just west of the New Delhi railroad station and it's an old area of town where you'll find a market and lots of budget accommodation options. 21. Delhi Street Food - Eating street food is one of the best things to do in Delhi, you'll love it. Thank you for watching this Delhi travel guide video and hope you have a great trip to Delhi, India! Incredible UNSEEN FOOD of AFRICA - Dorze Ethnic Group in Ethiopia!

►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ This is Part 2 of our Ethiopian village cultural food tour. If you haven’t already seen Part 1, you can watch it here: From the incredible Konso Village, we drove back to Arba Minch in Ethiopia, and then continued driving into the mountains, to a Dorze ethnic people village, high into the misty peaks. This is the village where Dessie is originally from, and also our driver, so they know everyone there. It was amazing to arrive to the village. One of the amazing parts of Dorze Ethiopian culture are their elephant shaped traditional huts, which are unique and one of a kind, shaped like elephants. One of the main most important foods of the Dorze is false banana, also known as ensete. It’s called a false banana because they plant does not produce banana fruit, but just giant leaves, and you eat the stump. Aunty made a number of extremely unique dishes, including a false banana porridge, and a false banana pancake, along with coffee leaves tea - something I had never seen or ever heard of before. Visiting the Dorze of Ethiopia was an incredible culture and food learning experience, and it was an honor to have a chance to visit on this Ethiopian food tour trip. Thanks to Dessie from Go Addis Tours (http://goaddistours.com/) for arranging everything on this trip. TOP 5 BEST THAI DISHES! | My Favorite Thai Food in Bangkok, Thailand!

29:30
Huge thank you to Greg from Travizeo https://goo.gl/VhaLp5 for filming and making this video! Subscribe now: https://goo.gl/6zXZGK for 2 new videos every week. A totally different style video today, hope you enjoy it! One of the most common questions I get asked is Mark, “what are your favorite Thai foods?” And so when Greg was in Bangkok I thought it would be an awesome idea to cover when he was filming with his amazing video skills. By the way, Greg films cinematic travel videos for brands and promotions, and he also happens to love to eat! Go check out his videos (https://goo.gl/VhaLp5) and website for more details (http://travizeo.com/). And I was very excited when he offered to film and edit a video for me. Choosing my favorite Thai dishes is a very hard thing to do, but I narrowed it down. 1. Braised beef fire pot (เกาเหลาเนื้อหม้อไฟ) at Heng Chun Seng (ร้าน เฮ้งชุนเส็ง) - There’s just about nothing better to eat for breakfast in Bangkok, and after trying quite a few versions, Heng Chun Seng is still my favorite. The beef is tender and most of all the soup is so fragrant from the herbs and beef. Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/yhtoLCyUbVy 2. Holy basil stir fry (กระเพราหมูสับ) at Ung Jia Huad (ร้านอึ้งเจี่ยฮวด) - If there’s one dish that could be the most popular and beloved easy to eat Thai food, it’s holy basil stir fry (with your choice of meat). It’s a dish that always hits the spot. Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/q6apJqZEhUH2 3. Green papaya salad (ตำปูปลาร้า) Stall on Sukhumvit - You’ll find green papaya salad on just about every street corning in Bangkok and throughout Thailand. My favorite version is som tam boo plaraa, dressed with fermented fish sauce. 4. Fish viscera curry (แกงไตปลา) at Janhom (ร้านจันทร์หอม) - Southern Thai food is always a favorite of mine, and gaeng tai pla, or a curry made with fish viscera is one of the most flavorful Thai foods of them all. Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/kC9a62QCApD2 5. Jungle curry (แกงป่า) at Pla Mae Nam (ร้านปลาแม่น้ำ) - A dish I just can’t get over, and have to order every chance I have, is Thai jungle curry. It’s an amazing mixture of chilies and herbs, and in this case, fish. This is also one of my favorite restaurants in Bangkok at the moment as well. Google map: https://goo.gl/maps/4kbcuqoVdPP2 There it is, 5 of my favorite dishes in Thailand. Thank you for watching this video! Again, huge thank you to Greg from Travizeo https://goo.gl/VhaLp5 for filming and editing this entire video! Street Food in Pakistan - ULTIMATE 16-HOUR PAKISTANI FOOD Tour in Lahore, Pakistan!

35:23
Thank you to Ali (Pakistan Travel Market): https://goo.gl/VY6NjH SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos every week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe T-shirts and caps: https://goo.gl/6WdK1l Also, just published a full Pakistan travel guide: https://goo.gl/5MHgz4 I’m very excited to share this first full street food in Pakistan video with you! We started our trip in Lahore, a vibrant, colorful, and packed full of food city. Our first day in Lahore turned out to be a 16 hour street food marathon in Lahore, and it was an amazing day! Get more details on my Pakistan Travel Guide: https://goo.gl/5MHgz4 Sadiq Halwa Puri (https://goo.gl/maps/Yoy9dJ6steF2) - We began the day with a very common breakfast throughout Pakistan, halwa puri, but along with chana curry (chickpea curry). We ate off the car, enjoying every bit of the freshly fried puris and curry. Total price - 640 PKR ($4.78) Chacha Feeka Lassi (https://goo.gl/maps/RGQBRQaNj8p) - Next we drove over to Gawalmandi, one of the most legendary areas in Lahore for food. We headed straight to a breakfast staple, the lassi shop and had the most creamy heavy milkshake I’ve ever had, called a pera lassi. Roasted chickpeas - 25 PKR ($0.19) - After exiting an alley, right in front of us was a man selling chickpeas and corn roasted in black Himalayan salt. It’s a very common street food snack in Pakistan. Sweet potato - 80 PKR ($0.60) - Sweet potato is also a very common street food snack in Lahore, seasoned with masala and a type of citrus juice. Baba Kulfi Wala - Next we headed over to Shah Alami Market, another huge and bustling market in Lahore. Kulfi - 20 PKR ($0.15) each - One of the most famous places to eat ice cream in Lahore is Baba Kulfi Wala, and you’ll find a crowd of people standing around the corner of the road eating sticks of their famous kulfi. Orange juice - 50 PKR ($0.37) Chana chaat - 120 PKR ($0.89) per plate - One of my personal favorite Pakistani street food snacks of the day was chana chaat, a chickpea snack. He added in all sorts of spices, chutneys, and seasonings, to create a deliciously refreshing snack. Butt Karahi Tikka Restaurant - Easily one of the most well known restaurants in Lahore is Butt Karahi, specializing in curry made in a rounded pan, called a karahi (we will be eating a lot of karahi’s in Pakistan!). We ordered both a mutton karahi and chicken karahi. Both were amazing, filled with spices and butter, but the tenderness of the mutton was the winner. Total price - 5,600 PKR ($41.84) Siddique Fish Corner - You’ll notice that Lahore seems to come alive at night, and street food is everywhere at night. We began the evening with Siddique Fish Corner, one of the best fried fish stalls in Lahore. It was awesome, and so busy. Total price - 400 PKR ($2.99) Khalifa Balochi Sajji - Another Pakistani dish I wanted to try was chicken sajji, a type of hand rotisserie chicken. The atmosphere and cooking method was incredible. His Burger is UNBELIEVABLE (Best in Bangkok)

04:11
What if I told you that you could eat the BEST BURGER IN BANGKOK, and pay whatever you want? If you love it, pay $15 or $20. If you hate it, pay $0. This is the story of a young man named Taiki, who spends 6 hours every day making 4 burgers for a very exclusive list of people to eat. Yes, he spends more than 1 hour to hand-craft each burger from scratch - every little detail to perfection! Taiki was introduced to burgers when he was living in Washington State a few summers ago. When he returned to Bangkok, he realized there weren't any good burger joints in town -- so he built up the courage to do it all himself. This is one of my favorite videos I've ever made. I have a pretty good feeling that his future restaurant of Homeburg will be famous someday very soon. This video is only the start!! Side note to this video, I met Taiki because his kitchen just happens to be in the same building of my co-working space where I eat lunch everyday. I always see him working his a** off every day cooking burgers, so I approached him only to discover his inspiring story. What a guy! The Ultimate ETHIOPIAN FOOD TOUR - Street Food and Restaurants in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia!

Ethiopia is one of my favorite countries in the world for food and travel, and this was my second time to visit, and I was eager to explore and eat as much as possible. We started early, 5 am in the morning and Go Addis Tours picked me up to start at the wholesale market. Even though the city is still sleeping, Addis Mercato is buzzing from 3 am when trucks full of produce from all over Ethiopia, sell them at the market in Addis Ababa. You’ll find all the ingredients, and massive amounts, that you need to cooking Ethiopian food. It was a good warm up, to get to know some of the ingredients, before starting the day eating Ethiopian food. We had coffee, and breakfast, both of which were excellent. Later after visiting another market, Dessie took me to his neighborhood to eat shiro wat, one of the greatest of all Ethiopian foods, a thick and rich chickpea stew. I’ve had shiro wat many times before, but never have I seen it fully prepared right in front of me. The shiro was incredibly good, piled onto a bed of injera, and we also ordered fir fir, a mashup of injera, simmered with tomato sauce and berbere. Next we headed to a fish restaurant in Addis Ababa. Ethiopia is landlocked, so all fish is freshwater. We ordered fried fish, and asa lebleb, a mixture of fish sauteed with spices and herbs. Both were excellent, but the asa lebleb was the highlight because it was so flavorful. Next Ethiopian food meal we went to one of the longtime classic restaurants to eat one of the best platters of beyaynetu in Addis Ababa. Beyaynetu is a mix of vegetarian dishes. It was again, a delicious meal, I especially love the tomato salad there. For our final meal of the day, and to finish off this extreme Ethiopian food tour, we went to one of the most well known and best quality meat restaurants in Addis Ababa to eat tere siga - raw meat. You are served a variety of chunks of raw beef, delicately sliced. Then you slice it into bite sized pieces on your own, wrap in injera, and dip into chili sauce before taking a bite. It’s awesome. The fried meat version is also very good. This was an amazing day, and an amazing Ethiopian food tour in Addis Ababa. Thank you Go Addis Tours! Litewskie lokomotywy wykonują polski hymn

01:29
Lithuanian Railways presented an original gift on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of restoration of Poland independence. For the first time in history, the Polish national anthem is performed by the whistles of the trains and railway drivers. The head of the unique train orchestra – Lithuanian-Polish musician Zbignev Levicki. Koleje Litewskie „Lietuvos geležinkeliai“ przesyła oryginalny prezent z okazji Setnej Rocznicy Odzyskania Niepodległości Rezczpospolitej Polskiej – hymn narodowy w wykonaniu septetu lokomotyw. Przygotowania do realizacji pomysłu trwały ponad miesiąc. „Spośród wszystkich posiadanych pociągów – zarówno pasażerskich, jak i towarowych, musieliśmy skrzętnie wybrać lokomotywy mające dźwięki o różnych tonacjach. To naprawdę trudne zadanie, jednak efekt końcowy zadziwił nas wszystkich – chyba nikt w Kolejach Litewskich do tej pory nie zdawał sobie sprawy, ile różnych dźwięków i tonacji mają lokomotywy. Oczywiście wybieraliśmy też najbardziej muzykalnych maszynistów", - o kulisach przygotowań mówił M. Bartuška.

Street Food in Uzbekistan - 1,500 KG. of RICE PLOV (Pilau) + Market Tour in Tashkent!

31:40
►SUBSCRIBE for 2 new videos per week: http://bit.ly/MarkWiensSubscribe ►T-shirts and caps available now: https://migrationology.com/store/ Thank you to B. Hamzaev - Head of Marketing and Promotion of Uzbekistan Tourism. Check out Bekruz: https://goo.gl/M14aZW Ravshan’s Channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClLf00Mg3N3g0Wo8_516tUA Uzbekistan Day 1: Tashkent On Day 1 in Uzbekistan we went on an ultimate Uzbek street food tour in Tashkent, including the biggest bazaar in the city, and the most massive plov (rice pilau) cooking in Tashkent. We had arrived at the airport in Tashkent at about 4 am in the morning, and at 9 am we were ready to start eating our way through the city. First we met up with Bekruz and Akbar both from the Ministry of Tourism Uzbekistan (Bekruz is the one who invited me to Uzbekistan and arranged everything for us, so thank you Bekruz!), and Ravshan (check out his channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UClLf00Mg3N3g0Wo8_516tUA), a local food vlogger in Uzbekistan. Two of the most important phrases you should know in Uzbek are: Assalomu Alaykum - Hello / Greeting Rahmat - Thank you Bread Bazaar, Tashkent - We started this ultimate street food tour at the bread bazaar in Tashkent, a market dedicated fully to bread, with a little fruit and other things mixed in. We bought some break, some kaymak, and some fruit and then went to a nearby restaurant where they laid everything on the table for us, along with tea. Uzbek breakfast was a great way to get started. Chorsu Bazaar - The grandest bazaar in Tashkent is Chorus Bazaar, and it’s a perfect place to get a feel of Uzbek culture and food. We first stopped at the food court to try hanum, a type of dumpling filled with potato and somsa. Then we continued to the dome shaped iconic part of the bazaar, filled with fresh meat and spices. It’s one of the coolest market structures anywhere in the world. Plov Center - We kind of had to rush out of Chorsu Bazaar because although they prepare 1,500 Kilos, seriously, of rice plov per day, it only takes 2 - 3 hours before they run out everyday. So we got there, already one of the monster swimming pool pans was finished, but they still had a few others going and serving. Plov is the national dish of Uzbekistan, a food that’s eaten on every and all occasions. For Tashkent plov, it’s pretty heavy on the meat at oil, with rice, chickpeas, and raisins. Also it included, qazi - horsemeat sausage which is a delicacy. It was incredibly delicious, and proper meal experience. Total price - 100,000 UZS ($12.21) Plov is love, remember that when you’re in Uzbekistan. National Food Restaurant - After strolling around for a while in the afternoon, we continued to a National Food restaurant, a laid back family style restaurant that serves all things Uzbek food. Along with a number of dishes, the main dish I was most interested in was the naryn, thin slices of dough mixed with minced meat and horse. It was interesting, and quite good, as were the other dishes. Total price - 110,000 UZS ($13.43) Sultan Suleyman Restaurant - For dinner we went to a bit of a fancy trendy restaurant, and had another platter of food. This time, dough noodle like sheets topped with meat, horse sausage again, and green onions. Total price - 122,000 UZS ($14.90) It was a day of learning, eating, and meeting some amazing people along the way. Thank you for watching this Uzbekistan food tour! This Farm of the Future Uses No Soil and 95% Less Water

03:38
Watch the next episode about San Francisco becoming a zero waste city: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cg3OA1s8-SI&list=UUJsSEDFFnMFvW9JWU6XUn0Q As urban populations continue to rise, innovators are looking beyond traditional farming as a way to feed everyone while having less impact on our land and water resources. Vertical farming is one solution that's been implemented around the world. Vertical farms produce crops in stacked layers, often in controlled environments such as those built by AeroFarms in Newark, New Jersey. AeroFarms grows a variety of leafy salad greens using a process called "aeroponics," which relies on air and mist. AeroFarms' crops are grown entirely indoors using a reusable cloth medium made from recycled plastics. In the absence of sun exposure, the company uses LED lights that expose plants to only certain types of spectrum. AeroFarms claims it uses 95% less water than a traditional farm thanks to its specially designed root misting system. And it is now building out a new 70,000 square foot facility in a former steel mill. Once completed, it's expected to grow 2 million pounds of greens per year, making it the largest indoor vertical farm in the world.
