Carlos Santana -- Black Magic Woman:: Lyrics :: I got a Black Magic Woman. I got a Black Magic Woman. Yes, I got a Black Magic Woman, She's got me so blind I can't see; But she's a Black Magic Woman and she's trying to make a devil out of me. Don't turn your back on me, baby. Don't turn your back on me, baby. Yes, don't turn your back on me, baby, Don't mess around with your tricks; Don't turn your back on me, baby, 'cause you might just wake up my magic sticks. You got your spell on me, baby. You got your spell on me, baby. Yes, you got your spell on me, baby, Turnin' my heart into stone; I need you so bad, Magic Woman I can't leave you alone.

Santana - Black Magic Woman - 8/18/1970 - Tanglewood (Official)

Santana - Black Magic Woman Recorded Live: 8/18/1970 - Tanglewood - Lenox, MA More Santana at Music Vault: http://www.musicvault.com Subscribe to Music Vault on YouTube: http://goo.gl/DUzpUF Personnel: Carlos Santana - guitar, vocals Gregg Rolie - keyboards, piano, lead vocals David Brown - bass Michael Shrieve - drums Jose "Chepito" Areas - percussion, conga, timbales Mike Carabello - percussion, conga, vocals Summary: Recorded just over a year after Santana played its historic Woodstock Music & Art Fair performance, the band was fast becoming one of the biggest in the world. They were about to release their second album, Abraxas, and were riding high on the heels of three hit songs from their debut album and a new Top 10 hit, a cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Black Magic Woman." A year earlier - in fact only a few days before the Woodstock Festival - Bill Graham staged the first of several concerts billed as "The Fillmore at Tanglewood." Tanglewood is the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the storied venue had just begun to experiment with staging contemporary concerts on their grounds. Staging a rock concert in a classical venue had yet to be done, so of course the concept of doing so excited Graham. He brought the full-scale Fillmore East production team in, including the Joshua Light Show, and booked a great lineup. This first concert featured B.B King, Jefferson Airplane and The Who, and drew the largest crowd that Tanglewood had ever seen by far. Buoyed by the event's success, Tanglewood and Graham agreed to stage three similar dates in 1970. The last of these is this show, when Santana headlined after The Voices of East Harlem and the legendary Miles Davis had played (you can hear Mile's set here). This historic and beautifully recorded performance features a smoking performance by Santana in the last year of their classic lineup, before a young Neal Schon joined the band. We think you'll agree it's an incredible performance by a great band in their prime.

The band's sound featured his melodic, blues-based guitar lines set against Latin and African rhythms featuring percussion instruments such as timbales and congas not generally heard in rock music. Santana continued to work in these forms over the following decades. He experienced a resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s. In 2003 Rolling Stone magazine listed Santana at number 20[2] on their list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.[3] He has won 10 Grammy Awards and three Latin Grammy Awards.

Santana IV Black Magic Woman / Oye Como Va Live

10:55
Guitarist Carlos Santana, keyboardist/vocalist Gregg Rolie, guitarist Neal Schon, percussionist Mike Carabello and drummer Michael Shrieve perform an updated version of Black Magic Woman/Gypsy Queen (written by Fleetwood Mac's Peter Green) with riffs from Jimi Hendrix's Third Stone From The Sun (5:00) followed by Oye Como Va (6:24). Santana IV live at the House of Blues played the same song sequence as the 1970 Santana second album Abraxas. The quintet got together for the first time since the early Seventies. The Santana IV album reunited most of the surviving members from the 1971 Santana III lineup of the band for a live concert at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV on March 21, 2016. Joining these core members were later Santana members Karl Perazzo on percussion, Benny Rietveld on bass and Dave Matthews on keyboards. Enjoy Carlos Santana and Neil Schon together again with their respective bands Santana and Journey live in a later concert at the Los Angeles Forum in 2016. They played Santana III's No One To Depend On among others at https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWptyRPuZHuF3MiqWAnQx9q_Tg8sQu4NW

Carlos Santana et Buddy Guy - Montreux Jazz Festival

04:57
http://www.marinoshop.com.br - 1982 Drinkin' TNT 'n' Smokin' Dynamite (live) -- Blind Pig (rec. 1974 Montreax Jazz Fest.) Carlos Augusto Alves Santana (born July 20, 1947), known simply as Carlos Santana or Santana, is a Grammy Award-winning Mexican-born American Latin rock musician and guitarist. He became famous in the late 1960s and early 1970s with his band, the Santana Blues Band, going mostly under the title "Santana," which created a highly successful blend of salsa, rock, blues, and jazz fusion. Their sound featured his often high-pitched and distorted guitar lines set against Latin American instrumentation such as timbales and congas. Santana continued to work in these forms over the following decades, and experienced a sudden resurgence of popularity and critical acclaim in the late 1990s. Over his career he has sold an estimated 80 million albums worldwide. George "Buddy" Guy (born July 30, 1936) is an American blues and rock guitarist and singer. Known as an inspiration to Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and other 1960s blues and rock legends, Guy is considered an important exponent of Chicago blues. He is the father of female rapper Shawnna. Guy is known for his showmanship; for example, he plays his guitar with drumsticks, or strolls into the audience while jamming and trailing a long guitar cord. Born in Lettsworth, Louisiana, Guy grew up in Louisiana where he learned to play guitar at a womens trucker convention[citation needed]. In the early '50s he began performing with bands in Baton Rouge. Soon after moving to Chicago in 1957, Guy fell under the influence of Muddy Waters. In 1958, a competition with West Side guitarists Magic Sam and Otis Rush gave Guy a record contract. Soon afterwards he recorded for the Cobra label. He recorded sessions with Junior Wells for Delmark Records under the pseudonym Friendly Chap in 1965 and 1966.
