Improving Product Life with End-to-End Automotive Durability Analysis

23:10
Component and system level durability studies are critical to improved safety, CAFÉ driven lightweighting, and reduced warranty costs. The complex loading environment becomes too expensive for physical testing, mandating the turn to engineering simulation. The software solutions that are commonly used to perform durability analysis post-FEA suffer from the high data volume and clerical requirements. Engineers, along with IT departments, carry this burden in non-value added time and hardware expense. By integrating fatigue analysis into FE structural solver of MSC Nastran, MSC Software compresses the cumbersome sequential process, eliminates translation errors and reduces IT cost of management of CAE solvers. This webinar will focus on the process and benefits of the new, integrated durability solution that involves fatigue analysis performed in conjunction with stress analysis.

How a Texture Analyser works for Texture Measurement & Analysis

04:20
Texture analysis is the mechanical testing of food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, adhesives and other consumer products in order to measure their physical properties. Because of its adaptability, texture analysis has become commonplace in many industries to measure a specific or range of characteristics or properties relating to the way a material behaves, breaks, flows, sticks, bends, etc. Major manufacturers routinely apply texture analysis techniques both in new product development and as part of quality control in all stages of manufacture, carrying out a wide range of measurements to analyse raw materials or excipients, semi-finished goods, packaging and finished products. It is a cost-effective method to determine the effects of raw material or excipient quality or the adjustment of formulation or processing variables on end product acceptability - whether this is to measure the 'mouth feel' properties of food, the flow properties of creams and pastes, the break or bend of a product or the tackiness of adhesives. Find out more about texture analysis at www.stablemicrosystems.com. Produced by Stable Micro Systems.

Paulownia Wood Closeup & Analysis 2019

05:02
Paulownia wood (also known as Empresswood) is a fast-growing sustainable lightweight wood specie, ideal for guitar bodies, surfboard cores, snowboard cores, martial arts breaking boards, etc. However, in the US, it's more often seen as a finished product than as lumber. Many people have never seen a board of actual Paulownia lumber. We ran some 8/4 Paulownia lumber with quarter sawn grain through the planer to give you a close-up look and reveal some basic truths about the wood. I explain some of the pros and cons of Paulownia for woodworking and millwork. Also, you'll learn about its sustainability. Many people mistake Paulownia for Ash, until they pick it up. It has a density of roughly 1/3 of Ash. However, visually it is similar in both color and grain. We also measure and weigh the Empresswood on a small postal meter to calculate an exact weight per board foot. We'll run the numbers with you so you can see the results yourself. Light weight and low density are ideal for many applications However, it also means that the wood can be indented or damaged much easier than oak or maple. You should see the end-grain close up to see how the growth rings per inch indicate the speed that Paulownia grows. From the late 1990's through the early 2000's, Paulownia plantations emerged around the globe. I believe a second wave of Paulownia production is around the corner. If you're looking for a lightweight wood with beautiful grain, you should consider Paulownia. PRODUCT AND PROJECT SCOPE

12:06
Hi, This session explains the difference between the 'PRODUCT' AND 'PROJECT' SCOPE. We can help you start your career as a successful business analyst. Get trained and get certified as 'SCRUM MASTER' by the end of the training. www.skillcubator.com [email protected] [email protected] Call us on : 703-200-9921 In today’s competitive environment, business analyst’s role is no longer of simply ‘A bridge between Business and IT’. There has been a paradigm shift in the role of business analyst in recent years. In today’s resource scare environment, customers expect business analyst to have knowledge and skills to conduct enterprise analysis, perform end-to-end business processes re-engineering, identify bottlenecks in their value streams, and most importantly develop solutions that would solve their problems and integrate their vision-strategy-technology towards a common organizational goal. Requirements elicitation and documenting them is a very small subset of a modern day business analyst’s role. This course has been specifically designed keeping in mind the expectations customers have from a seasoned business analyst. In addition to the business analysis skills, project management skills are equally vital for a business analyst. Since the natural career trajectory of a business analyst curve towards project management discipline, we have included key topics of project management as well, which in a ‘real-world’ scenario, any experienced business analyst must be familiar with. WHO CAN ATTEND Any individual with IT/Non-IT background who aspires to make their career in business analysis discipline. PREREQUISITES None. WHAT YOU WILL LEARN Upon successfully completing the course, an individual will learn the following: Background of business analysis discipline and business analysis fundamentals. Role of business analyst in a project. Knowledge areas as defined by IIBA’s BABOK®. Software development lifecycle (SDLC) concepts. Overview of BABOK® knowledge areas. Business process modeling. It's the End of May and It's the End of May!

06:55
It's now the end of the month of May and also the end of the premiership of Theresa May as she announces she will step down as the leader of the Tory party on the 7th of June. PLEASE SUPPORT MY YOUTUBE WORK ON PATREON: http://bit.ly/2oUVQfm OR ON SUBSCRIBESTAR: https://www.subscribestar.com/jeff-taylor My Youtube Community Page: https://goo.gl/tpTxpt FACEBOOK: @JeffTaylorBrexit LIKE THIS? PLEASE SHARE IT using the url - https://youtu.be/272zC27hjoU *SUBSCRIBE* to Jeff Taylor Here: https://goo.gl/NyzUPo How to *SUPERCHARGE* your YouTube videos - start for FREE: http://bit.ly/2vbl9z2 PLEASE NOTE THIS IS NOT A FULL TRANSCRIPT!! I have to start by mentioning, that now the elections that the establishment had to make sure were held in order to keep their Remain dreams alive are over, the battle for Brexit begins again. This time there must be no let up and we must never, ever trust the Tories and Labour Party ever again! Now, Theresa May gave an emotional goodbye speech to the country this morning as she announced she would be stepping down on the 7th of June to hand-over the reins of power to a new leader, with the thinking being that her replacement would be moving into Number Ten by the end of July. You will all have seen the speech so I won't dwell on it other than to say we need to put this behind us as quickly as possible and move on towards securing a proper and complete exit from the EU. There is much talk of Boris Johnson being the favourite. But I have this nagging doubt that even if the Tories get wiped from the EU electoral board when the EU election results are announced on Sunday evening, its MPs will still opt for more Remain minded candidates. Even though the Tory support base, its voters and its party members all recognise the threat that the Conservative party is under from The Brexit Party led by Nigel Farage, I don't think their MPs ensconced in the Westminster bubble are taking any heed. I think they view it as a bit of a protest vote that will soon somehow ebb away. But Jack Maidment writing in the Telegraph points to new analysis by Professor Goodwin that Boris Johnson, Amber Rudd and other big names in the Conservative Party would lose their seats and the party would suffer devastating losses in a general election, if The Brexit Party support holds up. Personally I think that Boris is probably the only hope of saving their party. Any other choice will consign them to the dustbin of history. It will be interesting to see if they realise this. Now, for any new Brexit minded leader of the Tories, a report from the Institute for Government says that MPs will not be able to stop a new Prime Minister that is intent on pursuing a no-deal Brexit. That is unless the Speaker, John Bercow, becomes even more 'flexible' in his interpretation of parliamentary convention, writes Maddy Thimont Jack. In her summary the author says: "It looks like a near impossible task for MPs to stop a prime minister who is determined to leave the EU without a deal. Parliamentary procedure offers no route, and the only apparent way to blocking no deal – a vote of no confidence – would be a massive gamble for Tory MPs." Let's just hope that cometh the hour, cometh the new leader! The Lib Dems seem now to have emerged from their period of purgatory caused by getting too close to the Tories and are beginning to make gains by championing the Remain cause. The Lib Dem leader, Vince Cable, helped them get this far but he is now standing down and has triggered a leadership contest. In an E-Mail to his party members he said: "There are major challenges ahead. One is to win, finally, the battle to stop Brexit. Our campaigning has given hope; now we need to secure a referendum in Parliament, and then win it." Be in no doubt the Lib Dems will do all they can to build an anti-Brexit cadre in Westminster and I suspect they will have done quite well in yesterday's EU Elections, which will give them a springboard. And this matters, because it won't matter how many Brexiteer MEPs get into the EU Parliament, if our MPs thwart Brexit in Westminster. The new Lib Dem leader has to be one of the party's other ten MPs, so take your pick from Tom Brake, Alistair Carmichael, Ed Davey, former Lib Dem leader Tim Farron, Wera Hobhouse, Christine Jardine, Norman Lamb, Layla Moran, Jamie Stone and Jo Swinson. The Lib Dems may also soak up the support of the Change UK mob in the Commons as I suspect that, unlike the Lib Dems, Change UK will not do well in the EU elections. #Brexit #NigelFarage #TheBrexitParty Sources: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/politics/2019/05/23/tory-big-beasts-including-boris-johnson-will-lose-seats-next/ https://www.instituteforgovernment.org.uk/blog/new-prime-minister-intent-no-deal-brexit-cant-be-stopped-mps-0 https://www.serenataflowers.com/en/uk/flowers/next-day-delivery/product/107673/summer-harvest?refPageId=272981&refDivId=1%7Cbestsellers

The intended audience for this video was for all kids, teens, and young adults. These people are our future and they are the ones that decide what the future will hold. Racism and Discrimination is very negative and the next generation is our next hope to end Racism. But in order to do this, we must stand. Why did I choose the song All star by Smash Mouth? Since the audience was for kids, I didn’t want the video to be all serious because they would get bored. If they got bored they would click on to the next video and they would not learn the message. If they didn’t learn, I failed my mission. So All star, known by may kids because it was in the film Shrek, will catch their attention and keep them engaged. Why did I decide to make a fun music video? If I made a long video and talked about the history of Racism, they would not have learned anything because their attention was not grabbed. The fun aspect really allowed children to laugh but also learn. Why did I show some comedy? As I said, I wanted to keep the kids attention. I used a similar strategy Lilly Singh used for her video, A Geography Class for Racist People, where she talked about a very serious topic, but also kept it funny. She was successful to spread the message to young kids, which is my goal. What were some of messages behind the lyrics? The first couple lines, “Somebody once told me the news is gonna teach ya. I believed in every sentence. He was looking pretty smart with his glasses and his tie,” explains how news is very believable. A lot of the times the news can be misleading or not true. An example of this is when they talk about White Supremacy being true. This is false, and I show them later in the song that everyone is equal. This leads on to me saying,” I am gonna talk equality. You’ll never know if you don’t learn. You’re never too young to learn.” This excerpt shows that we should introduce this problem to kids at an early age at schools because we will be able to show them that racism is not good. And that they should follow equality. The last really important line is,”That’s the way I want, and you’re gonna stand.” This message tells you that no one is going to do the job for you. You need to become a leader and stand if you want the world to change. What did some of the clips represent? The baseball clip where he fouled shows him getting right back to the plate and not worrying about his mistake. This can replicate when we are trying to change the world and we fail the first time we try. We need to get right back at it and not worry, but fix our mistakes. This is similar to when I jumped off the table. It represents that after we make a mistake, we have to pop up, dust our knees off, and get back to work. This also connects with the push up clips. I failed the first time, but the second time I did it. Immediately after, it shows me doing pull-ups. This is because after one great success come many more victories. Why was Delbarton a perfect community to film the video? At Delbarton, we have our brotherhood. The brotherhood is positive community where if a brother falls, we immediately run to pick him back up. This makes us have very close relationships. So, filming this at Delbarton shows that we don’t care where they came from or what they look like, just that they are great helping people. This is the same with my wrestling team. We all have the same goal of being a champion one day. We all push each other to the limits because of the relationships we have built together for years. These places are good because Racism is non-existent there. Communities that need help should try to replicate our atmospheres. Why were there so many clips that had a huge message behind it? I really wanted my music video to not be just dancing. I took a look at This is America by Childish Gambino. In his video, there are so many hidden messages in his video. A hidden message that people picked up on was that his dancing movements were similar to Jim Crow. I wanted my video to have messages like that, so that is why there are large explanations above. I didn’t want everything to just be words, but the viewer also had to use his mind.

Texture Measurement & Analysis

03:12
Application of the HACCP system in addition to the Prerequisite Programs and the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) provides the best protection for food. The application of the HACCP system ensures that the company controls all the hazards that may affect food, whether these hazard are physical, chemical or biological. Orange Juice HACCP plan The 12 Steps To Develop a HACCP Plan are divided to 5 Primary Steps and 7 Basic Principles. The 5 Primary Steps are : 1- Assemble the HACCP Team. 2- Describe the Product ( components and storage condition ). 3- The Intended Use and Consumers. 4- Draw a Flow Diagram to Describe the Process steps. 5- On-Site Confirmation of Flow Diagram. 1. Assemble the HACCP Team from different departments (Top Management + Quality and Food Safety + Production + Sales + Maintenance + Purchasing). 2- Describe the Product ( components and storage condition ) (Natural Pasteurized Orange Juice) and its components (Orange + Water) specifications (Sugar Free) and methods of preservation (stored in the refrigerator in temperature from 4 - 8 ⁰) calorie/ml . 3 - The Intended Use and Consumers (Drink directly from the bottle / user category age from two years and not recommended for patients with pressure) Validity / Expire period of 14 days. Orange Juice flow diagram steps 1- Receiving of Orange 2- Sorting of Orange 3- Washing 4- Squeeze-out 5- Filtering 6- Concentration 7- Reconstitution 8- Pasteurization 9- Bottles Filling 10- Bottles capping 11- X Ray 12- Dating the bottles 13- Packing the bottles 14- Arranging on Pallets 15- Storing 16- Distribution The 7 principles of HACCP (must memorize in order) 1 - Conduct a Hazard Analysis 2 - Identify the Critical Control Points 3 - Establish Critical Limits 4 - Monitor CCPs 5 - Establish Corrective Action 6 - Verification 7 – Recordkeeping / Documentation Step 2 Product descriptions – End products must be characterized by type and description in order to facilitate hazard analysis. Information must include: - 1. Product categorization 2. Composition 3. Biological, chemical, and physical characteristics 4. Shelf life and storage conditions 5. Packaging 6. Labelling related to food safety – including handling, preparation and usage instructions 7. Method of distribution Step 3 Intended Use - 1- The end intended use of the products must be described in a manner that defines: - 1. Who will consume the products? 2. How is the end product to be consumed? 3. If the end product is mishandled, what is the food safety risk? Step 4 - Process Flow Diagram Construction - 1- The flow diagram is a schematic overview of the operation/production process. They may be formed by site, line, product or area - but must cover all food operations covered within the HACCP Scope, have sufficient detail to allow for effective hazard analysis, and show clear cross referencing between diagrams where required. 2- Flow diagram content must include the following, where relevant: - • The sequence and interaction of all process steps • Raw materials, utilities, and food contact material introduction points • Potential for process delay • Rework and recycling points • Outsourced processes and sub-contracted work • Any high/low risk area segregation • All product forms - finished, intermediate/semi-processed, by-products, downgraded forms and waste • CCP’s and their overview Step 5 - Process Flow Diagram Verification - 1- Diagrams as developed above must be verified by physically following the process (walk the line) during production to confirm accuracy and completeness. 2- This must be completed by, as a minimum, representatives from the QA, Manufacturing and Engineering functions in the HACCP team 3- This verification must be documented and reconfirmed annually, or when a process is changed. Reverse Engineering | Definition | Examples | Mechanical Basics | ENGINEERING STUDY MATERIALS

02:24
Reverse Engineering Software | Definition | Basics | Examples | ENGINEERING STUDY MATERIALS Reverse engineering, also called back engineering, is the process by which a man-made object is deconstructed to reveal its designs, architecture, or to extract knowledge from the object; similar to scientific research, the only difference being that scientific research is about a natural phenomenon.[1]:3 Reverse engineering is applicable in the fields of mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, software engineering, chemical engineering Reverse engineering is also being used in cryptanalysis in order to find vulnerabilities in substitution cipher, symmetric-key algorithm or public-key cryptography.[1]:6 Interfacing. Reverse engineering can be used when a system is required to interface to another system and how both systems would negotiate is to be established. Such requirements typically exist for interoperability. Military or commercial espionage. Learning about an enemy's or competitor's latest research by stealing or capturing a prototype and dismantling it, which may result in development of similar product, or a better countermeasure against it. Obsolescence. Integrated circuits are often designed on proprietary systems, and built on production lines which become obsolete in only a few years. When systems using these parts can no longer be maintained (since the parts are no longer made), the only way to incorporate the functionality into new technology is to reverse engineer the existing chip and then redesign it using newer tools, using the understanding gained as a guide. Another obsolescence originated problem which can be solved by reverse engineering is the need to support (maintenance and supply for continuous operation) existing, legacy devices which are no longer supported by their original equipment manufacturer (OEM). This problem is particularly critical in military operations. Product security analysis. To examine how a product works, what are specifications of its components, estimate costs and identify potential patent infringement. Acquiring sensitive data by disassembling and analysing the design of a system component.[9] Another intent may be to remove copy protection, or circumvention of access restrictions. Competitive technical intelligence. Understand what one's competitor is actually doing, versus what they say they are doing. Saving money, when one finds out what a piece of electronics is capable of, it can spare a user from purchase of a separate product. Repurposing, when obsolete objects are reused in a different but useful manner. Reverse engineering of software In 1990, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) defined reverse engineering as "the process of analyzing a subject system to identify the system's components and their interrelationships and to create representations of the system in another form or at a higher level of abstraction", where the "subject system" is the end product of software development. Reverse engineering is a process of examination only: the software system under consideration is not modified (which would make it re-engineering or restructuring). Reverse engineering can be performed from any stage of the product cycle, not necessarily from the functional end product.
