You won't believe what is actually captured in photos deep underwater from yoga with a stingray to mysterious abandoned boats 9. Deadly Blue Hole This enormous hole on the ocean floor in known as ‘Dean’s Blue Hole’ and is the world’s deepest known saltwater blue hole that has an entrance below sea level. It is 202 meters deep and is located in a bay just west of Clarence Town on Long Island in the Bahamas. It certainly gives me goosebumps just looking at it, and I wouldn’t want to fall into it. 8. Scary Giant Squid One of the most daunting and intimidating sea creatures of them all is the giant squid, which can grow to a massive size because of deep-sea gigantism. According to recent estimates, the giant squid females can grow to lengths of 43 feet, or 13 meters, and the males grow up to 33 feet, or 10 meters, from the tip of the tentacles to the posterior fins. That is as large as an average yacht! Can you say deep sea nightmare? 7. Yoga with a Giant Stingray While it may look like the stingray is smiling, and that the swimmer is doing calming yoga, the beauty of this picture is how dangerous what the swimmer is doing actually is. Contact with a stingray’s stinger could mean death for this swimmer. The large fish, and the contrast of how small the human is in comparison, makes this one of the most breathtaking underwater interaction pictures. Also, it is pretty impressive how the swimmer is holding that beautiful pose with the giant stingray just feet away. 6. Creepy Wall of Seaweed No, this is not an optical illusion. That’s right, what you are seeing in this picture is tons of giant seaweed in the rolling waves. Yes, seaweed, like what sushi is wrapped in. But this form of seaweed is far less edible and far more sinister. People die every year from getting caught in its sliminess, causing them to drown as a result. Typically, seaweed isn’t considered as dangerous as a shark, but have you ever had that feeling of something under the water brushing up against you that makes you want to jump out of your skin? That is exactly what you get with this seaweed. 5. Abandoned Submarine The ocean floor doesn’t just have creepy animals, but also some creepy leftovers from humans. There is something so creepy about swimming around the remains of an old ship, or in this case, a giant abandoned submarine. Around the submarine, you will find giant jellyfish and big fish, but that is not the biggest concern for divers. Getting caught in the massive boat’s propeller would spell out certain death. It would probably be best to stick to coral reefs and sharks. 4. The Shadowing Shark What could be more pleasant than a day out on your kayak paddling through crystal clear turquoise waters? Well, this unassuming fella clearly thought the same thing. But what he doesn’t know is that there is danger lurking just feet from him, which could have resulted in a lethal attack. This situation is exactly how many people who are killed by sharks happen to die – when they are least expecting it. We would be high-tailing it out of there as fast as we could paddle. 3. Creepy Ocean Bug So the Goblin Shark and the Wolffish may be terribly ugly looking things, even by sea creature standards, but this gigantic sea bug really takes the cake. It has officially been called a giant isopod, and it certainly is a giant. While this creepy creature may not be as delicious as a sea bream or red snapper, this fisherman looks quite happy with himself for catching the big crustacean. 2. Shark Face Just this picture alone is enough to make anyone question going for a swim in the ocean. Of course, the first thing that comes to mind is the dramatic and intense cello music and the unsuspecting swimmer being dragged to the depths of the ocean to become dinner for one of these sharp-toothed creatures. The scariest part is just how calm the top of the water looks, making it even more real that this shark could be swimming near you and you wouldn’t even know it. Brave the open ocean… if you dare! 1. Creepy Bubble Formation Water is an interesting substance, allowing for creepy displays when air comes into contact with it. Imagine scuba diving along the ocean bed only to look up and see what appears to be a bubble man. It would give any of us the heebie-jeebies, especially knowing what other creatures share the water.

From a suicide squid squad, to the eery findings deep under the Australian Great Barrier Reef, these are 10 STRANGE Deep Sea Photos Explained Under the Reef Let’s head back to Australia’s Great Barrier Reef for this one … actually, we’re heading under the Reef. Researchers came away with some incredible pictures of deep sea creatures when high-tech cameras were able to examine environments some 1500 meters (nearly 5000 feet) below the surface. Scary-looking deep-sea anglerfish, swarms of crustaceans and deep sea jellyfish Atolla were among the many strange forms of ocean life found over the course of the 10 day research project. When this bizarre looking deep sea creature washed up on a New Zealand beach earlier in 2016, people didn’t know what to make of it. The 13-foot animal’s disturbing, black dinner-plate-sized eyes and humped back gave a few tourists a shock … but some maintained their composure long enough to take a picture of the creature … or with the creature! While the sea creature may have unusual looks, it’s not exactly an unusual creature. It’s a bigeye thresher shark, known to hunt offshore, but are rarely observed close to beaches. The animals use their long tail to stun prey, but aren’t considered a threat to humans. There are three species of thresher shark, and all have been listed as ‘vulnerable to extinction’ since 2007. Acorn Worm -- A six-week research project in 2010 set out to investigate marine life forms along the mid-Atlantic ridge … it’s a sub-polar front where warm waters from the south meets cold waters from the Gulf Stream. The exploration yielded a vast array of sea life and many potential new species. This Acorn Worm (aka Enteropneust Hemichordate anter-ope-nee-ist (heem-mah-chore-date) was photographed with a Remote Operated Vehicle, which located the creature using its adhesive tentacles to attach itself to the seafloor. The picture by David Shale almost looks like the worm could be a flower blossoming from its stem underwater. Acorn Worms are invertebrates that can survive at depths of 10,000 feet below the ocean surface. Deep Sea Anemone -- Does it look like a trap is waiting to be sprung … like if you get too close to the center of this thing, those tentacles will suddenly rise up and imprison you? You’re not far wrong. Say hello to the sea anemone … an invertebrate carnivore named after the terrestrial anemone flower, due to the perceived resemblance. They spend most of their time attached to rocks on the seafloor. They’ll also attach themselves to coral reefs waiting for fish to pass by. Those tentacles are actually filled with venom, which will paralyze prey the anemone ensnares. While most anemones are harmless to humans, certain highly toxic species are potentially lethal. Did you know that depending on the species, sea anemones can live more than 50 years? Big Red -- Bet you wouldn't guess this is a jellyfish. This relatively new species was discovered in the Pacific Ocean in 2003 … but was first spotted 10 years earlier. Only 23 members of this species have been found, with only a very small specimen acquired for study. The creatures are known to grow up to 30 inches in diameter and live at ocean depths of nearly 5000 feet. Because they live at such extreme depths, remote operated submarines were used to take pictures and high-resolution videos of the creatures. What really makes them distinct from other species of jellyfish is the lack of long tentacles … this creature has four-to-seven thick, fleshy arms it uses to capture food and eat. While scientists know the jellyfish is red all over, it could take awhile before researchers can uncover more information pertaining to the animal's food, predators, reproduction and so on. Here’s a fun fact … researchers were originally going to call the animal “Big Ugly” … but it was renamed “Gran rojo” … Spanish for Big Red. Think this picture of a Beluga whale looks strange? He sounded even stranger. This is Noc, a whale that could actually mimic human speech. His voice was so human-like that it often fooled divers … and made researchers believe the marine mammal was trying to make contact with his human friends. It’s thought that Noc began making human-like sounds after hearing divers using their communication equipment underwater. After hearing Noc, scientists at the National Marine Mammal Foundation in San Diego tried to pick up more voices by building a special underwater listening platform. While Noc could be heard on the mic, the other two older whales who lived with him didn’t seem as eager to communicate. Sorry to say that after 30 years at the national Marine Mammal Foundation, Noc passed away in 2007. Lifehacks you need to learn before going on vacation: Traveling to different parts of the world is one of the most life-changing adventures. But it comes without saying that sometimes you need some tips and tricks for your fellow travelers that will make your trips a lot easier! 1. How to save someone from drowning when they don't have a lifejacket? - Just take some trousers, tie the legs of the trousers together, then wear that around your neck with the knot on the trousers to be at the back. Then, start beating/taping on the water until the trousers become inflate and there you have it! 2. How you can have a shower outdoors using just a plastic bag. - Get a plastic bag and fill it halfway with water. Then attach a hanging clip on to it and hang it from somewhere that is high and convenient enough for you. After that, take a needle and pierce the plastic bag to until enough water starts coming out and there you have it :). An alternative way to have a shower and save more water. 3. Stop your diving glasses from steaming: - Take your lighter and place it as near to the tempered glass as you can but NOT to close in order to burn it. (Do this on the inside area of your glasses) Then wait for the glass to fill with black smoke and let it sit there for 5 minutes. After that, put some toothpaste on the inside of the glasses and using a paper towel remove the black smoke. 4. DIY underwater camera - If you've been at that place where you need an underwater camera but you don't have a phone case or something to put your phone in to protect it, then try this. Get a large drinking glass, place your phone inside upside down and start taking the best underwater pictures of your magnificent vacation 5. How to make your own swimsuit - Cool clothing hack: - You've been invited to go swimming but you don't have a swimsuit laying around. Then this one is for you. Take a pair of old leggings, and cut them into a triangle shape. Take the "legs" of the leggings that you are left with and sew them at the top. After that, the unattached side of the leggings and sew those together as well. And, there you have it. Your own, DIY fashionable swimsuit. 6. How to keep your phone, keys, and money safe at the beach: - Take your sunscreen bottle and instead of throwing it out when you've run out, try this little hack. Take your paper cutter and remove the neck of the sunscreen bottle. Then, place all your beloved items inside and then close it with the original cap of the bottle. Now you can do and do your swimming, or walk at the beach without being worries that they will be stolen. 7. If you got a nasty sunburn then try this trick: - Take your clean ice tray and fill it with some pure Aloe Vera gel, freeze it. Then take ice the Aloe ice-cube and place it on the area where you got sunburned. It will relieve the pain and help you treat the burn a lot faster. 8. If you are getting a bicycle to tour around town on your vacation then you will fall in love with these little tricks. - How to ride a bicycle when you are wearing a dress. The only things you need for these ones is a coin and a hair tie. Place your coin through the fabric of your dress and on the other side take your hair tie and wrap it around the coin and your dress as many times as possible. Then go for your bicycle ride without worrying :). - If you need to be at a place fast and you need to look at your phone to go to your destination. Then, try this. Take a thick rubber band and place it at the bottom of your phone, then pull it from the back and wrap it underneath the handlebar of your bicycle. Finally attach it back at the top of your phone. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Timestamps: 0:43 - Cool shower hack 2:25 - DIY underwater camera 3:05 - How to get your own temporary tattoo 4:42 - How to make your own beach bag using a towel 6:53 - How to make your own swimsuit 7:30 - Turn your beach towel into a dress 10:18 - DIY camouflage wallet for your vacation 11:42 - How to treat a nasty sunburn 12:25 - Amazing bicycle hack 13:00 - How to remove a screw without a screwdriver 14:20 - Awesome vacation hacks for the summer ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/ Our Social Media: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/5Minute.Crafts.Girly/ Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/5.min.crafts/ Twitter: https://twitter.com/5m_crafts Subscribe to 5-Minute MAGIC: http://bit.ly/2ldditZ 5-Minute Crafts KIDS: https://goo.gl/PEuLVt The Bright Side of Youtube: https://goo.gl/rQTJZz ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- For more videos and articles visit: http://www.brightside.me/ Music by Epidemic Sound: https://www.epidemicsound.com/

SHOCKING photos have emerged showing sea animals chained up inside underwater cages. Divers swimming near the remote island of Kokoya, Indonesia stumbled upon two cages on the seabed where two rare dugongs were trapped. The marine mammals appeared to be a mother and her calf, the divers said, adding that they had been caught by local fishermen hoping to profit by allowing tourists to take photos with the trapped creatures. One of the divers, Delon Lim, revealed that the mother and baby were being held in separate cages. Lim told animal welfare website The Dodo that the while the younger creature was at least able to swim inside its cage, the mother’s movement was restricted by a huge rope. The wear and tear on the rope and the scars on the mother’s tail suggested the animals had been chained for several weeks by the fishermen. "He asked for some money if we want to see the dugong or take a picture," Lim said, explaining that the animals were likely being used as tourist attraction. Incredibly Lim and a fellow diver managed to convince the fishermen to let the animals free. “When we left the island, the fisherman agreed to release them...But since we were not so convinced he would, I posted the video to social media,” he said. The social media messages alerted the attention of animal welfare authorities who arrived on the island the following day and found the mother and her baby still trapped. They were finally set free later that day.

NO MUSIC VERSION @ https://youtu.be/wJIbhSYteK0 | Watch via On-Demand: https://naturerelaxation.vhx.tv/new-releases-from-david-huting/videos/rainbow-reef-relaxation-3-hours-hd-nature-relaxation-w-music | DOWNLOAD/DVD: https://www.naturerelaxation.com/products/rainbow-reef-relaxation-3-hr-dynamic-underwater-film-w-music-hd | ABOUT THIS FILM: From the cinematographer: "The footage for this film was shot over a period of some years in French Polynesia, Micronesia, Indonesia and East Timor. Unfortunately there are not that vibrant anymore today. Coral reefs have suffered from the rise of water temperature, rise in acidity, destructive fishing methods and severe storms caused by climate change." - Peter Schneider. "Rainbow Reef Relaxation" is a 3-hour long, sweeping yet majestic & vibrant underwater journey to the world's most beautiful lagoons, as captured by Nature Relaxation collaborator Peter Schneider (Underwatercam) paired with ambient underwater sounds and brand new ambient music by the Cynic Project. Filmed in High Definition several years ago, thanks to its age this film offers magical glimpses of an underwater world that is bursting with life, color, and beauty. Unfortunately, reefs today in most of the world are suffering from severe bleaching and so with this film we hope to raise awareness by showcasing the divine beauty that only pristine underwater reefs can present, in hopes that it will motivate the viewer to take action and help save them before its too late! (https://news.nationalgeographic.com/2018/01/coral-bleaching-reefs-climate-change-el-nino-environment/) More from Peter S: "We all know that nowadays! This gives us the privilege and also duty to change and rethink our role in nature. What we also know today is that everything is connected and we are all a part of Nature, yes we are nature. So we don’t have to save the world, but recognize it as family. What we do to the world, the world will give it back to us. Equally the good and the bad things, that is law. The good news in it is, ...it is all up to you and me and everyone. You matter, I matter because we are all belonging to the same family. Now take a deep breath and join us for a dive beneath the waves." Yes that's me diving with an underwater camera to take photo in the Red Sea. My aim was to take photos underwater of some of the incredible wildlife. It was difficult to capture, I did however get some amazing shots of some of the coral and fish. It's just a pity the camera only came with 27 shots. After using everything up I found a ray and an underwater wreck.

"How to make a wool felt picture: beach sea" is an easy tutorial that gives you details of all you need to learn to make a picture using the wet felting technique. By placing different coloured layers of wool rovings and silk tops, and different kinds yarns - you can create a great beach and sea felt painting that also has shells and coral effects. At the beginning I show you a few other more detailed felt pictures I have made, giving you an idea of what can be achieved. This project is a great little picture - fairly simple and quick to put together, but at the same time giving you a beautiful sea felt 'painting'. It shows you how a simple design layout can actually be very effective. See how each layer is built up so you get good depth of colour, and then how to put the finishing touches on for the details. All materials you need are listed below. I used local Australian Merino wool for this project, which is such a wonderful, soft fibre that felts easily. If you are new to felt-making and want to learn the basics, visit How to make felt: https://youtu.be/f-onTemjDHg If you're interested in eco-printing, watch the video How to eco-print felt with leaves and dye - full details https://youtu.be/Jzz8D5zZrgk If you've enjoyed this video, please LIKE! and subscribe if you'd like to be notified of other felting, eco-printing and creative videos in future. Thanks! MATERIALS USED IN THIS PROJECT: Bubble wrap Nylon netting or old net curtain Towels Soap, water (soap solution using either soap bar or hand soap) Spray bottle Half a pool noodle Elastic bands Glass with a patterned base if you have one Wool rovings aka tops (I use Australian Merino 18.5 - 20 microns) in various shades of blues/orange and yellows and white Variegated yarn Dimensional wool yarn Silk tops (hand dyed) Vinegar Rinsing bowl, bucket or kitchen sink Video and photos are filmed by me at home and on location in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland of Queensland, Australia. Here are 5 Extremely Creepy Deep Sea Creatures Click Here To Subscribe! http://bit.ly/EliteFacts List : 5. The Ningen This creature from the depths of the ocean may be just about the creepiest thing you could ever see. The reason for this, is that it looks just like a human even having strange limbs that resemble arms and legs. The name Ningen is actually human in Japanese. However, there is no need to panic and worry that the world will be taken over by strange alien sea creatures, because there has never been any official sightings of this little beastie and general opinion is that it’s just a freaky urban myth much like the mermaid. 4. Mantis Shrimp This rainbow hued little creature is not as nice as it looks. It is actually extremely clever and horribly dangerous. One of its main talents is being able to see colours that far surpass even the furthest imagination of humans. As well as, it is an efficient killing machine, it has two appendages at the front of its body which can lash out so powerfully that they cause the water surrounding the creature to reach boiling point! So, even the clever prey that have managed to avoid the physical attack will be rendered defenceless by the boiling water. 3. Pelican Eel Eel’s in general are quite creepy looking, but this one has taken it to another level. This slippery character is basically just a huge mouth with a tail attached. The mouth itself is absolutely terrifying, it unhinges so that its owner can catch prey that is twice its size. The chosen prey is then stored in a pouch within the lower jaw. However, the tail can be just as weird as it possesses a small light producing organ that is called a photophore and this gives off an eerie pink glow. 2. Humpback Anglerfish The female of this species most certainly has a licence to kill. She uses her feminine charm which comes in the form of a bioluminescent lure dangling over her forehead to draw in prey that she can destroy with her rows of ferocious teeth. 1. Predatory Tunicate This is basically a Venus Fly Trap that lives underwater. They are almost completely translucent and they stick themselves to the sea floor and wait patiently for a tasty meal to come along. Once an unsuspecting critter falls for the trap the creatures snap their hoods shut until they’ve had their fill.
